We Save Lives & Support Recovery

Chris Atwood, and so many others like him, was a warm, loving, and intelligent person who also happened to suffer from anxiety, depression, ADHD, and ultimately, opioid use disorder. After his tragic death by overdose in 2013, The Chris Atwood Foundation was formed, to prevent other lives from being cut short this way.

In his memory, we are:

Saving lives, through opioid overdose emergency response training and dispensing of the overdose reversal medication, naloxone, providing free harm reduction and peer services

Supporting recovery, through scholarships for safe recovery housing, free reentry programs, peer support services, community resources and education.

Across these efforts we advocate and give voice to many who are stigmatized, judged, and forced into isolation. Your support makes recovery possible.
